Almost more fun than I could handle!

Wow what a weekend! Saturday was a blast. So much fun all in one day. First off we went to Kathy's Kreations in Lignier. I bought a ball of trekking I had been lusting after. I saw it about two weeks ago the last time I was at Kathy's. So after that we were off to Idlewild. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there swimming. We have season passes, so we usually go for just a few hours. Next my husband and son went to Toys R Us while my daughter and I went to the mall. My husband bought another lego set, and I bought some perfume at Victorias Secret. Then it was off to home. I was feeling a little under the weather, so my husband cooked dinner. Yummy! To finish off the night we went to Evergreen Drive In. We saw Pirates of the Carribean II and Cars. We enjoyed both movies even though we did not get home until 2:30 Sunday morning! What a ton of fun for one day.

Sunday was spend doing some work. Blah! All of us pitched in and got all the yard work done. I went and did grocery shopping all by myself. Ahh blissfull silence instead of two monkey headed kids touching everything and one another and yapping the whole time. The rest of the day was spent relaxing.

I have been knitting. Mostly on my tank and a new sock. No surprise there huh? I am also working on a super secret crochet project that is taking way to long cause my left hand keeps cramping up. Not when I knit, only when I crochet. Interesting. I am also working on some sewing projects I need to finish up. Busy busy busy.

Today I had to do some shopping that took forever, cause my daughter got lost in the store. I waited 20 minutes for her. Is it time for school yet? Tonight I am gettting rid of one kid and gaining another. My son is spending the night across the road, and my daughter is having a friend over. Two preteen girls woo hoo. Ok well I better go get something done around here. I will leave you with a pic of some socks. The ones on the left are the finished ones for my MIL the ones on the bottom are for my nephew who is due to arrive in September, and the one on the right is for me. I am not sure about them. I love the yarn and pattern, but seeing as they look like the flag, I feel weird about wearing them. I don't know......

Awwwww... I LOVE those little baby tiger socks!!! And the other ones remind me of my koigu yarn. As for teenagers... can't live with em, can't live with em. :-)

Those little tiger socks are way too cute! I am making a noise right now that only dogs can hear over how cute they are!
