Lolita the Kniiting Lego

Donna craft personal photos 507

Tee Hee! I was sitting around doin nothing last night, and came up with the idea to make a lego figure kniting. My husband helped me wtih her. I call her Lolita cause whe is wearing her red strapless top. Her knitting needles are really lego screwdrivers. That was the closest thing I could find.

Not much going on here. My husband is off work today so we are spending a quiet day at home. He is playing legos, and I am going to knit. Last night I worked on my fingerless mitts. I have one done that needs the thumb put on. They are made with baby silk, and are soooo soft. Plus they are purple which is my favorite color.

I am patiently (yeah right) waiting for later this week. Thursday my family and I are going to go roller skating. I have not been in forever, and can not wait. Then Friday, I am leaving to go on a "knitting retreat" with my friends. It will be such a blast. I can not wait. Well gotta go knit!

I read your blog everyday and I love it! A quick question; does your husband take Lego donations? I have a box lying around here collecting dust. I could give them to Goodwill but wouldn't mind sending them to him. I have 3 sons, only one was ever interested in Legos and now he is 14 (and likes cell phones, girls and MP3 players!). email me at spengler5 at msn dot com and let me know what you think!
