I have wanted flamingos for the yard forever. My husband has always said no because they are tacky and trashy. He must really love me cause for Easter he got me these two flamingos. I think it is very funny having flamingos in the yard because we live in a mobile home park! Plus the flamingos are plastic which makes it even funnier. My husband of course thinks I am crazy. I have just always wanted flamingos. Maybe I am embracing my inner redneck/white trash side. LOL.
As far as knitting goes, I am working my way to the end of sockapaloooza socks. I have the heel turned and the gussetts decreased on the second sock. Now I just have to work my way to the toe. I hope to have them washed and blocked by Monday. I have to finish my Easter socks, and I have a couple more projects in mind. For now though I am off to Wal-Mart (I love Wal-Mart). Must buy some groceries, and if I don't go at least 4 times a week, the world might end. HA HA!

The flamingos are cool. There's a little white trash in all of us. I once came home to find my husband had put up a Christmas decoration outside our house with duct tape. (Actually my kids called me at work to break it to me gently so I wouldn't faint when I pulled up to the house) The duct tape didn't last, of course, but if he put flamingos in the yard I'd keep them.
