MMMMMMMMMM

It's Friday, time for ZYX along. Todays letter is M. M is for many things. Money, Moody, and Mommy just to name three.

Money: I wish I had more of it.

Moody: The best way to describe my teen and preteen kids. Aarrgghh!

Mommy: I love her and miss her cause I don't get to see her often enough.

Speaking of Mommy, her birthday is at the end of May. I wanted to make her something. She saw the yarn I chose, and requested a scarf. I wanted to make something very pretty and lacy. Ha. Lace has really kicked my butt. But finally, I have found a pattern she will like and is knitting along very nicely for me. My mom loves cats. Her and my dad have four cats in the house. Sooooo I looked in one of my knitting pattern books and decided to make her a scarf with the cat's paw design. I am liking it so far. I am using two strands of Knit Picks shimmer held together. See how it looks:

I love it. It will be so soft and beautiful when finished.

Sockapalooza socks are done! Woo Hoo! I finished weaving the ends in this morning. Now they have to be washed and blocked. I really like them, and hope my pal will to. I have not touched my Easter socks. I am just not feeling the love for them at the moment. I do have some new projects to start though. I was reading Yvonne's blog and saw she is making convertable. OMG I am so gonna make this for me. I am going to use my knit picks shadow in campfire my Pittsburgh Secret Pal sent me. I think it will be awesome. Plus my husband told me today that one of his coworkers wife just had a baby boy. I am going to try and speed through the Last Minute Stripes Sweater from Knit Picks for the baby. I am going to use Knit Picks Simple Stripes in Storm. Whew! Lot of knitting to do. I have a knitting get together tonight at Cheryl's house though so I should get a lot of knitting done. Have a fabulous weekend y'all!

Hi Donna...thanks for visiting my blog. It's so nice to know that someone...anyone in Pittsburgh Knits/crochets. I just discovered the Pittsburgh Knitophiles but haven't had a chance to go thru it.
I live about 5 minutes from the Pittsburgh Mills in New Kensington. I'm fairly new to knitting but do alot of crocheting. You'll have to keep me up to date about Pittsburgh Knit/Crochet stuff. Everyone I talk to is everywhere else in the country and out. Don't be a stranger to my blog...I'll put you on my bloglines. I love your stuff. That's all for now... Take care.

I love the idea of solid socks with stripey heels & toes - usually it is the other way around. Very pretty socks!
