Oh what a week

It has been a crazy week here. My wonderful husband and I finished putting a shelf in the shed last weekend, so he moved a bunch of our boxes and stuff around. This means he also put our "second" dining room table together in our extra room. Since then, I have been scrapbooking like crazy. I was married a year ago last month, and am just now getting the pictures in a scrapbook. I have also been knitting up a storm. I finished a pair of socks, worked on my shawl, and started some gauntlets that I frogged. I just was not happy with how the yarn was working up. I think it is going to grow up and be a nice pair of socks for me some day. I was happy this week working hard on crafting, housework, and etc. Then on Thursday for the third time in 2 months, I ended up at the emergency room. Yep, another kidney stone. Actually, I was only in pain for a bit this time. Last time was much worse. I am sporting a very nasty bruise on my left arm where they "tried" an IV. Once again though this time was better. Last time it was three tries to get the IV in this time only two. On Friday, I was sick sick sick all day. Saturday was much better. My family and I went to the Greater Pittsburgh Ren Fest. Had a great time and bought some yarn there! I picked up some 100% angora that I am going to knit into some very warm mittens for me. After that we went to dinner and then to Lowes to purchase lumber for our latest building project. Buying a new home is great, always building something new. First the steps for out front, then the shed, and now today the deck and steps for out back. This mini deck is in preparation for the big deck we are going to build out front in a week or so. Needless to say, I am tired out tonight, but not sleepy. Go figure.

Donna, if it's only been a year to get the pictures in a book you are doing good. I was married 20 when I did mine!!
