Freaked out Fur Babies

With that title, you know this is going to be good. Last night the children and I were taking time and playing with the rats. Their top door on the cage was open so they could come out and play and stuff. Well I asked my daughter who was prancing around in her robe if she brushed her teeth? Of course she had not. So she took off running with her robe open and flapping, and her robe tie caught the rat cage. Yes the entire thing came crashing down. Rats, bedding, food, and suppies everywhere. One rat managed to end up under the cage. She ran up the side though and was okay. The other rat hid under the couch, and then ran under the stand and finally under the cage. We finally caught her and she was okay. Thankfully they were both all right, just very very shaken up. Ophelia just hovered in my husbands lap shaking. He cuddled both of the rat babies in his lap inside his warm jacket while I cleaned the whole mess up. We put them inside the cage, and they were a bit hesitant, but soon were feeling comfy again. My daughter was bawling cause she felt so bad. I told her I think she was punished enough for running through the house by thinking she could have hurt the rats.

Well other than that, nothing is going on around here. I am supposed to be working on my husbands socks, but well I will get to them later. LOL!

Holly, you don't know the half of it! Those two rats are spoiled more than my cats are. It's funny!!!
