That is how I felt when I recieved this package from my mom yesterday. While we were on vacation at my parents house in December, I saw the ribbon yarn at Hobby Lobby (totally awesome store) and just loved it. But it was $9.19 per skein with 87 yards in each. Too expensive for me. Well a month or so later, it went on sale for 50% off. My mom told me about it when we talked on the phone. I asked her to pick me up some and send it to me. Well she got it, and added some more surprises. The two "fuzzy" yarns on the left were a gift from her as well as: a pillow form with a soldiers prayer on it, 9 packs of sew on australian crystals, and a smiley guy that giggles. I love love love smileys, and collect them. I especially like the ones that giggle. I told her I would pay her for the ribbon yarn, and expected to pay about $50. That is about $4.10 plus tax each. Well my mom was buying lots of stuff when she bought my yarn, so did not pay attention to the total price of everything. When she got home, she found out that five of the skeins were rung up at $9.19 at 50% off, but the other five were rung up at $1.91 at 50% off. Since it was such a large mistake, my mom went back to the store to let them know so they could fix it. The store said it was okay the cashier was the one to make the mistake, so I got my yarn at a great price. The original price was $9.19 + tax, and I paid about $2.70 each including tax! I love a great bargain.

I took the picture in my knitting spot. Did you notice the cup of coffee and cup of water on the table behind the yarn? Also if you look on the stand you will see my yarn for the knitting olympics all lined up and ready to go. Well I better go and start carb loading so I have energy. Have a great day and good luck in the olympics.
